As I wasn’t able to participate in person, I addressed the Ocean Exchange Decarbonisation Summit in October 2021 via video presentation. I focused on the challenges and solutions for decarbonising maritime transport, including the IMO decarbonisation targets, short-term solutions (such as LNG and lengthening transit time), long-term solutions (such as alternative fuels and collaboration) and the vital finance question.
