Sustainable Foods London focuses on tackling the key sustainability challenges that are affecting the Food and Drink Industry. The 3rd edition of Sustainable Foods London takes place on November 6th-7th 2023.

Last week I gave a video presentation on food sustainability to Slovenia’s Strategic Council for Food, drawing on Economist Impact’s Food Sustainability Index. Great to have key members of government there.

An estimated 150 million more people were suffering from hunger in 2021 than there had been in 2019. Reversing this worrying trend - and restoring progress towards zero hunger - will require a significant uplift in financing for agri-food systems. I was the project director of a new Economist Impact study on this topic.
